Cosimo Bonciani comes from the Florentine countryside in Tuscany, where he grew up surrounded by the building materials in his father’s shop, which involved him as a child in the creation of artifacts and plant engineering, sowing within him a passion for architecture and product design which led him to leave the country at 18 for the city.
He began his studies at the University of Architecture in Florence where he immediately measured himself with his innate predisposition for interiors, also thanks to the teachings of Adolfo Natalini, founding member of the Florentine avant-garde who took the name of Superstudio.After a few years he realized that he would have to go beyond the walls of the city and this took him to Paris where he studied a year receiving the teachings of Bernard Tschumi at the École d’Architecture à Marne-la-Vallée, here he developed a great passion for modernism and for the design geniuses of the 50s.
Back in Florence he graduated in April 2018 and his career immediately takes the right direction, in fact, by the end of the year he will be able to compose and complete an interior project for a famous Florentine ice cream shop in the Notting Hill district in London just 27 years old. He continues by signing interior and product design projects that also lead him to various publications. He opened his own studio in the country of birth at the end of 2018.He continued his work in London managing to sign another ice cream parlour, this time at Fulham road Chelsea. At the same time he took part in the accommodation of the ancient Lighthouse of the Vaccarecce in the island of Giglio in the part of interior together with the owner. He also made a design set for an advertising video for the famous shoe brand French Roger Vivier.
